Roy David, MD

Dr. Roy David is a double board certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon with over ten years of experience serving San Diego and La Jolla. Dr. David specializes in hair restoration, facial rejuvenation, and rhinoplasty (nose job or nose-reshaping). He is board certified in Facial Plastic Surgery, as well as in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. Dr. David completed a fellowship in facial plastic surgery and hair restoration surgery under the auspices of the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, during which he trained under renowned hair restoration surgeon and former academy president Dr. Daniel Rousso.

Dr. David was born in Israel and  grew up in San Jose, CA, later attending college at the University of California at San Diego.  Prior to college, he volunteered and served as a paratrooper in the Israeli military, becoming a combat medic and developing a love of medicine. At UCSD, Dr. David was appointed a Regents Scholar and graduated summa cum laude. He went on to attend medical school at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, one of the best medical schools in the country. Following medical school, he completed a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and then sub-specialized in Facial Plastic Surgery and Hair Restoration Surgery. He has been in practice in San Diego and La Jolla, CA since 2003, performing thousands of surgical procedures. In addition to his surgical practice, Dr. David is the medical director of Golden Triangle Plastic Surgery and Medical Spa in San Diego. He is a proud father to three children and enjoys multiple hobbies such as martial arts, skiing, and working out at the gym.
